MORE INFORMATION ON SAMMY
Sammy was rescued by the wonderful Mastines En La Calle, where he received treatment for a leg break that he arrived with. The bone was pinned and has fully healed. Sadly after his move to foster in the UK, in a freak accident he has broken his leg again (in another place). The vets have confirmed they don’t believe the 2 breaks are connected in any way, he’s just been really unlucky. He’s expected to make a full recovery but would not be suitable for those looking to hike or partake in dog sports.
Sammy is a total charmer and is great with people and dogs, he can live with children and can live with cats. Sammy really enjoys doggy company and is a playful boy so needs at least one other playful dog in the home, and a garden where he can burn off some steam. Sammy knows and responds to hand signals and would benefit from someone who will continue to train him.
Sammy is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption requests now.
