Dobby was seen wandering the streets in a really poor state, but he escaped capture for a number of days until he finally allowed a group of children to catch him and bring him to the safety of Asociacion Vidanimalis, one of our partner kennels.
Dobby has been waiting there for 1.5 years, for no good reason, other than he is a Podenco and therefore often overlooked as a suitable pet in Spain. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Dobby is loving, loyal and super friendly with people and children - even those he has just met for the first time. He is playful and happy but equally content to amuse himself pottering round his outdoor exercise area. He is good with other dogs, but could happily live as an only dog as well. In fact, he is just a super all rounder. Medium sized, we think he’d make a wonderful addition to so many homes - he has very few specific needs - just lots of love! He is an absolute heart melter, thats for sure! Dobby could live almost anywhere, including with children.
Dobby is neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
