Diesel was an unexpected rescue, a trap had been set up to rescue a local stray galgo but when triggered and checked they found this little podenco inside, he is now in the care of one of our partner kennels.
As with many of the pods that are looking for homes, it’s difficult to know the background of Diesel but likely that he’s either been lost during a hunt or abandoned by his hunter. He is a shy boy, and will need some help to give him confidence and help bring him out his shell. He interacts well with all the other dogs, and once he gets to know people he learns that they are not quite so scary. As he is a little shy, he will benefit from having a garden and being homed where it isn’t a very busy environment.
Diesel is a lovely little Podenco Andaluz, and mixes with dogs of all different breeds, ages and sizes.
Diesel will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
