Cara was rescued from the Alamansa perrera, as sadly they have a lot of podencos who have been there for quite a long time, she is now in the care of one of our partner kenells.
Cara is a stunning big Ibizan girl who is a bit shy with people to begin with. She soon gains confidence but needs time & patience to come round and trust you - once she does, it is so worth it! She would really benefit from a home with another dog as she loves the companionship of other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She gets on with all the dogs at the shelter, of all sizes, shapes and ages and has no issues whatsoever. As she is a little shy, she’d really benefit from a garden. She would be unlikely to cope very well in a very busy urban environment so we’re looking for somewhere slightly quieter for her.
Cara is neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
